Performance ritual May 2026 SS Skabninger Samlinger x Astrid Noacks atelier

In May, I presented a site-responsive performance ritual at Skabninger Samlinger and Astrid Noacks Atelier, curated by Storm Madsen and Sarah Hamming.

It was a generous experience that allowed me to return to my site-specific performance practice—something I love and have missed. Working in close dialogue with the space reminded me how much I enjoy creating performances that unfold through the particular atmosphere, history, and materiality of a place. It felt both grounding and energising to reconnect with this part of my practice.

Also I have been returning to photography through an expanded exploration of cyanotype. Working with the material remains of previous prints, I have been weaving and transforming discarded cyanotypes on paper into new works.

As the series has developed, a recurring iconography has begun to emerge—seeds, water droplets, eggs, pears—forms that seem to continuously shift into one another, returning again to the seed. I am interested in following this circular logic rather than defining it. The works inhabit a space between stillness and transformation, carrying both a sense of solitude and an underlying, almost infinite vitality.

From July 25th until mid-August, I will be exhibiting in Nykøbing Sjælland, where a selection of these new works will be on view and available for purchase.

You are very welcome to stop by the opening on July 25th —or visit at any point during the exhibition. On the opening day, I will also be speaking about my practice in an artist talk alongside the other exhibiting artists.

I’m also opening my calendar for new collaborations this autumn.

Alongside workshops, performances, and ongoing artistic projects, I have room for new commissions and collaborations. If you’ve been thinking about working together, or know someone who might be interested, don’t hesitate to reach out—I’d love to connect.

A selection of my flower hands is currently available through LY Contemporary on Møn. The works are printed in A4 format on archival paper and are available for purchase.

Have a happy summer 💚
